My friend (and I use that term loosely) Eric Lamoureux, aka MaskofWintert, and host of The Wild Die Podcast, posted this on G+ earlier today, and poked fun at me for my recent lack of posts.

 So this is what happens when you poke the Dragon, you get burned. :P

 This is the blog site of a certain Erik Schmidt, who's been gaming since the 1980's. According to his site, he's a big fan of Tabletop RPGs and truly wants to make them more accessible to newcomers and gives tips and ideas on how to get someone new to our wonderful hobby.


His site has many menu tabs at the top that cover various subjects such as ''About RPGs'' and ''Start PLaying'' for the newcomers, and ''Level Up'' for the new or experienced Game Master that could still use tips and tricks for their game sessions. Let's face it, even an experienced Game Master may need some new ideas to rejuvenate or re-energize their campaign, etc.

Here's a quick blog post about a new Kickstarter called '' Distant Frontiers Poster Map Set ''. 8 maps on Four double sided posters 22x34 inches each. They look really nice with plenty of details for your futuristic setting. Also, as of this writing, they less than 300$ from being funded, with 5 days left to their KS campaign. Shaintar Character Builder and Adventure Generator

It's all about the story, right? Mr. Richard Woolcock’s savage-stuff.blogspot site is a great resource for all kinds of things. He’s put together a lot of source material for Savage Worlds and other rules system thru the years and a fellow gamer and member of the Nerds-International family Karlen ‘’of-the-hill-people’’ Kendrick has contributed as well. I will be writing about a recent game I ran and the reason I mention these guys and their resources. I recently ran a Shaintar One-Shot game for some friends, in Fantasy Grounds. I didn’t have as much time as I would’ve liked in order to prepare, so I used the website tool to give me an idea for a scenario (see the link below), and simply used some pre-gens from a previous One-Shot I had run last fall. link: Shaintar Adventure Generator The adventure generator is a great way to get ideas and inspiration, even if you’re not running a Shaintar campaign. Random Encounter!

A sweet Amazon find! Hey, hey! Look at what I found by chance on Amazon this morning. I was shopping for something completely different but discovered this Area of Effect template. It includes Cube and Radius AoE as well as a 15ft cone and a D12 random direction indicator.
