The Dragon's Toolbox

Hello Nerds and Nerdettes! A few of you may have seen the subject which I will be reviewing in this installment, somewhere on the Googles, shared by fellow gamers. But I thought I'd look into it and test it myself, and then share my thoughts. Here goes. So this is a site that allows you to quickly get a rough layout for a either small or larger Towns and Cities. If you don't like the one generated, just click on the appropriate town or city button and ''voila!'' a new map. And if you move your cursor over the various elements and sections it will tell you what may be there, such as a farm, gate, castle, marketplace, etc. So your players will have at least an idea of where they are in relation to the castle, the east gate, or whatever. Hello Nerds and Nerdettes This is not the typical subject for the Dragon's Toolbox, but this is my favorite Fantasy Setting. It's all about the story, right? Mr. Richard Woolcock’s savage-stuff.blogspot site is a great resource for all kinds of things. He’s put together a lot of source material for Savage Worlds and other rules system thru the years and a fellow gamer and member of the Nerds-International family Karlen ‘’of-the-hill-people’’ Kendrick has contributed as well. Paper Tigers & Cardboard Dragons This time lets talk about minis. They're cool, especially when they are well painted, but not all of us have the talents of  +Karl Keesler , So what is a busy GM, who lacks the painting and sculpting skills of the aforementioned artist, to do? Maybe he turns to a fairly easy solution,...Paper Minis. Yes, Paper minis can be a godsend when you want a lots of minions and also when your funds are rather low. You want 50 skeletons, hit print. Easy peasy!  And you don't need to cut them out as closely in the above example. Check out the image below.
